Self-serve conversion funnel, Q2

Eighty thousand pricing-page visits become eight thousand purchases. The steepest drop is the first one — nearly two thirds of visitors never start a trial.

Self-serve conversion funnel, Q2 Illustrative dataset, not a real conversion record. A four-stage self-serve funnel measured in unique accounts over Q2. Encoding rule: width is proportional to value, measured from a zero width at 0.008 pixels per account, and each tier's top edge width encodes its own stage count while its bottom edge equals the next stage's count. Visited pricing page 80,000 gives a 640 pixel top edge; started trial 30,000 gives 240; activated a first workspace 14,000 gives 112; purchased 8,000 gives 64. The silhouette narrows monotonically and tier heights are uniform, so height encodes nothing. The steepest single drop is the first, a 63 percent loss between the pricing page and trial start; the last step loses 43 percent. The focal tier is purchased, the conversion tier. Illustrative dataset — the four stage counts are invented to demonstrate the pyramid grammar and describe no real funnel. Encoding rule: width ∝ value, at 0.008 px per account measured from zero width; each tier's top edge encodes its own count and its bottom edge equals the next stage's count, so the taper is derived from the data rather than eyeballed. Tier heights are uniform — height is not a second encoded dimension — and the silhouette narrows monotonically. Every tier carries its name and its number as text, so the ordering and the magnitudes survive grayscale. Colour resolves through design-system tokens; where no project tokens are compiled the page falls back to the documented neutral palette declared in :root. Static, script-free, and offline.
