# design-os-knowledge-builder

> Ontology-first knowledge packs for AI agents: claims with verifiable sources and a ledger-backed stopping gate.

Freeze sources, promote evidence into claims that quote them, verify every quote, and stop research when the ledger says it is enough. Ships the `es-knowledge-forge` agent skill.

## Core Features & Architecture

- **Primary Interface**: `python3 -m knowledge_builder.cli` (ingest, verify, index, query, action, pack, run, gate).
- **Verification**: `verify --claims` checks every quote against its frozen source; `pack check` exits 0 only when it passes.
- **Agent skill**: `skills/es-knowledge-forge/` (router, rules, build/validate/look scripts).
